ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing any coverage tier from XLCoverage ("Xandland," "we," "us," or "our") and/or by uploading a screenplay for coverage, you ("the writer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to these terms, do not complete your purchase or submit your screenplay.

NATURE OF THE SERVICE

XLCoverage provides AI-generated screenplay coverage for educational and developmental purposes only. Our coverage is designed to help writers identify areas for improvement in their screenplays before seeking professional representation, production, or human coverage services.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Coverage is generated by artificial intelligence models and reflects the AI's honest analytical assessment of your screenplay.
• Coverage is one perspective among many and does not represent the definitive or final word on the quality or commercial viability of your screenplay.
• A PASS, CONSIDER, or RECOMMEND rating is a legitimate professional outcome and not an error, malfunction, or failure of the service.
• XLCoverage makes no guarantee that your screenplay will receive any particular rating or level of feedback.
• XLCoverage makes no guarantee that following the notes and suggestions provided in your coverage will result in a higher rating upon resubmission.
• AI-generated coverage is not a substitute for professional human coverage, literary representation, or industry feedback.

You further acknowledge that AI models may occasionally produce factual errors, misread portions of a screenplay, misinterpret formatting, or generate analysis that contains inaccuracies. While we take steps to extract and process your screenplay text accurately, AI-generated output is inherently probabilistic and may contain mistakes. Coverage should be read as informed creative feedback to be weighed by you, not as infallible or authoritative judgment.

NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME

XLCoverage makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The commercial viability of your screenplay.
• The likelihood of your screenplay being optioned, purchased, produced, or represented.
• The accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the coverage provided.
• Any improvement in your screenplay's quality or marketability following the notes provided.

REFUND POLICY

All sales are final. Because coverage is generated and delivered digitally upon submission of your screenplay, we are unable to offer refunds once your coverage has been generated and delivered, regardless of your satisfaction with the ratings, notes, or overall assessment provided.

Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

• A technical failure prevented your coverage from being generated or delivered.
• You were charged more than the listed price for your selected tier.
• You were charged twice for the same submission.

Refund requests must be submitted to support@xandland.com within 7 days of your purchase date. Dissatisfaction with coverage ratings or notes does not constitute grounds for a refund.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND SCREENPLAY OWNERSHIP

You retain full copyright ownership of any screenplay submitted to XLCoverage. By submitting your screenplay, you grant XLCoverage a limited, non-exclusive license to process your screenplay text solely for the purpose of generating your requested coverage.

• XLCoverage does not claim any ownership over your screenplay, its characters, story, or any other creative elements contained within it.
• XLCoverage does not share, sell, distribute, or otherwise disclose your submitted screenplay to any third party without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.

SHOWCASE PARTICIPATION — OPTIONAL OPT-IN

If your screenplay receives a RECOMMEND rating from at least two of the AI models (applicable to Triple Coverage and Ultimate Quad Coverage Membership tiers only), you may be given the option to list your screenplay in the Xandland Showcase — a curated listing visible to industry professionals.

Showcase participation is entirely voluntary and requires your explicit opt-in. If you choose to participate:

• Only your screenplay's title, genre, and logline will be displayed publicly.
• Your full screenplay will never be shared without your direct involvement and consent.
• You represent and warrant that your screenplay is registered with the WGA or otherwise protected by copyright before opting into the Showcase.
• XLCoverage is not responsible for any unauthorized use, reproduction, or theft of your logline, title, or any other information you choose to make public through the Showcase.
• XLCoverage is not responsible for ideas that may be similar to yours that are developed independently by industry professionals who view your Showcase listing.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, XLCoverage, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service.
• Any coverage ratings, notes, or assessments provided.
• Any decision made by you or any third party based on coverage received.
• Any dissatisfaction with the coverage provided.
• Any technical errors, delays, or interruptions in service.
• Any unauthorized access to your submitted screenplay.

In no event shall XLCoverage's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the coverage tier that gave rise to the claim.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

XLCoverage is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• We do not warrant that coverage will meet your expectations or requirements.
• We do not warrant that any errors in the service will be corrected.

HONEST FEEDBACK ACKNOWLEDGMENT

MEMBERSHIP TERMS — Ultimate Quad Coverage Membership

If you purchase the Ultimate Quad Coverage Membership tier:

• Your initial payment covers your first Quad Coverage and your first year of membership benefits, including a second free Quad Coverage during your membership year.
• Your membership automatically renews annually at the founding member renewal rate, billed to your payment method on the anniversary of your original purchase date.
• You may cancel your membership at any time directly from your account profile at xlcoverage.com, under the membership section, with no need to contact us or explain your reason. Cancellation is as simple as the signup process. You may also cancel by emailing support@xandland.com.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You retain membership benefits through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after you cancel.
• Membership benefits — including the 50% discount on future coverages, free ebook access, the second free coverage, and the annual free quad coverage on renewal — are active only during periods of paid membership.
• Founding member renewal pricing is locked for the lifetime of your membership provided your membership remains active and in good standing; lapsed memberships that are reactivated will be subject to the current renewal rate at the time of reactivation.
• We will send you a reminder email before each annual renewal as a courtesy, but it remains your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged.

ACCOUNT AND MEMBERSHIP ACROSS XANDLAND PROPERTIES

Your Xandland account, created via auth.xandland.com, may be used to sign in across multiple Xandland properties, including but not limited to XLCoverage, XLShorts, and other Xandland products. Membership benefits and discounts described in these Terms apply specifically to XLCoverage and do not automatically extend to other Xandland properties unless separately stated on those properties.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT

By purchasing a product from XLCoverage and providing your email address, you acknowledge and agree that Xandland Enterprises, LLC may contact you by email with marketing and promotional communications, including but not limited to product announcements, special offers, new feature notifications, and other content about Xandland products and services.

We will never sell your email address to third parties. Your contact information is used solely by Xandland Enterprises, LLC and its services. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable email marketing regulations.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.

CHANGES TO TERMS

XLCoverage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
